Where I’ve Traveled

Where I've Traveled
Where I’ve Traveled

Here are the places I’ve traveled. I’m tracking countries & territories, US states, Canadian provinces, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Tracking is for fun, so chill if you’re one of those anit-counting people. Some of us are crazy people who keep lists of almost everything in their lives. I am one of those people.

Countries & Territories (29/325)

Where I've Been

See here for explanation on why I’m using the Travelers’ Century Club list and what constitutes a country. The TCC list uses any amount of time (even in transit) as a visit. For my purposes, I must have traveled there overnight unless that’s difficult for the country (like the Vatican).

United States of America (31/50)

I’m proud of how much of the US I’ve traveled, but I have a ways to go. I grew up in Oklahoma, the middle of the middle. Oklahoma is prime road trip country, and I grew up in a family that was always planning a road trip to somewhere or other. After college, I moved to Philadelphia and explored much of the east coast. I have some gaps, mainly west of Colorado. I look forward to filling these in over time.

Unesco World Heritage Sites (45/1052)

I’m a history nerd, and I love hitting UNESCO sites. Whether it’s one I’ve always wanted to go to (like the Acropolis), or one I’ve never heard of (like the churches in Troodos), I always learn something cool whenever I go. Since there are over a thousand of them, I am not trying to hit all of them. But I research ones whenever I plan a trip and make time to visit any in the vicinity.
